Custom Design
Can I customize an existing design or even create my own?

Absolutley!  The designs you see on our website are products we have created over time and a way to offer our customer choices.  Many of our customers design their own furniture, or bring us a picture and ask us to recreate it.  We enjoy the challenge of making your idea into a reality.
Thru-Tenon Joint System
Genuine and unique design, sets us apart from competitors.

Our patented joint system ensures a solid construction.  Unlike metal and screw constructed joints, our thru-tenon design is secured with a glued wood pin for a long lasting heirloom product that will last for generations.

Hand-peeled or Machine-peeled
What is the difference in surfaces of a peeled pole?

The most popular choice of pole surface for log furniture is the rustic peel.  The rustic peel is achieved by hand peeling with a draw knife to create the skip peel of the underlying bark layer of the tree.  We hand peel all of our indoor rustic peel furniture, to give it the most refined finish possible.  The rustic peel can also be achieved with a machine peeler.  The machine peeled poles are used mainly on the outdoor fencing, arbors and some furniture that requires a more distressed rustic peel.  We also offer a smooth sanded pole which takes all dark peel and leaves a natural log color according to its species.  Regardless of the type of peel you choose, we take great care and many man hours to create the log surface that will meet your design.
Stains and Finishes
What are my choices for the finished look of my product?

There are many oil and water based products to finish your custom piece.  Unless specified, we use a clear oil based satin finish on our furniture to give it a protective coat and bring out the natural color of the wood surface.  You are welcome to choose from the many colors of stains available on the market today.
