We are located in the beautiful Rogue Valley of Southern Oregon. Nestled between the Cascade mountain range to the east, the Siskiyou mountains to the south and the coast to the west, Medford is the perfect place for our business and family. Southern Oregon is known for its great outdoor recreation, Theater, Skiing, Rafting, and long history of Timber Product Management. The area is known for its plentiful timber, with native wood such as Douglas Fir, Cedar, Pine, Blue Pine and many more. |

Darryll Starr (Owner/Craftsman)
Darryll is a native of Bend, Oregon. He is the descendant of the original pioneering Barlow family, who have a trail named after them in northeastern Oregon. He grew up in a hardworking family with six children, where he learned to thrive and appreciate the great outdoors. After moving to the Rogue Valley in his early teens, Darryll started his career in the forest management business with his father. He continued to build his own timber management business to concentrate on small diameter thinning. He has survived the losses of the timber industry and recognized the opportunity to continue selective small diameter thinning and using the product to create beautiful log furniture. He is happiest when he is working in the great outdoors and in his shop! Along with his wife Kelly, he is the proud parent of one daughter and one son who are on their way to beginning their own life careers. |
